Well first they will reunite for the American leg of Manson’s Eat Me, Drink Me tour but they plan to do more and if you read the looooong interview with MM on...mansonusa.com? -, they plan to „bring about the apocalypse“ and blah. If you read through all the usual Manson rants, you’ll find how much he missed „Twiggy“, not only as a musician but also as a friend, and apparently he found Jeordie in a sad and bad mood. He’s out of NIN, you know, and Manson says something else about „he had told me he had gone through a really hard relationship breakup very similar to mine“. So the whole thing feels a bit like „If we can’t be good, let’s be really bad“. I find it strange too. I think JW did a really good job with A Perfect Circle, then NIN, then he’s doing Goon Moon, and now it’s all retro. Well, whatever. Manson also talked about how happy he was that John 5 called him for his birthday a few days ago, and that he can imagine asking John back on stage too.
Don’t know, seems there’s a lot of psychodrama involved, MM taking it personal that his very own Twiggy was with Trent, now Trent taking another direction again, and Manson going „I guess he found out he wasn’t in the band anymore when he read it in the press.“
I have a feeling something is going rather wrong there, but read that whole interview – a man who gets overwhelmed by Led Zeppelin playing „Kashmir“ can't be a bad man.

yeah, I liked Jeordie in NIN very much too, saw them live twice and mysteriously grabbed a Jeordie bass guitar pick both times. And he seemed to make sure to everyone the Twiggy persona was a 90s thing. After seeing him being so, like you say, really good at what he’s doing without that ‚stage-role‘ it would seem somehow ridiculous if he came back like that, only to please Manson’s ambitions. Manson himself, well, you’re right again, that kind of gloating joy about Jeordie not being in NIN anymore doesn’t suit him very well. In the end, Manson is just a bag of emotions. So right after he told the world he finally defined the term „romantic“ for himself, he seems to get all sentimental, and that’s maybe the danger in it all. Yeah, maybe there’s enough people out there waiting for „the old MM“. Me, I don’t, frankly. GAOG was a kind of disappointment and it was clear then he’s in a dead end street. That was a time when I thought he should start to write songs. „Simple“ songs, without any next concept that brings about the apocalypse, „personal“ songs though of course everything he did was highly „personal“ in a MM way. But then a horrible phase in his life brought exactly that, with „Eat Me, Drink Me“, and it’s shakiness was somehow also it’s strength. To me, it was making Manson interesting again. I don’t know – whatever MM did, and he did amazing things, I always felt he never did what he COULD do. If he would have taken Jeordie back as Jeordie, in order to out-Nine-Inch-Nail Nine Inch Nails, that would have been smart. But who knows what will happen, I’m curious too. If it’s all just a sentimental journey to give carte blanche to excess, yawn.
