Every detail huh? Alright, well here we go...
Hello. I am having flashback of standing up in fornt of the class in school right now. My name is Leilani, it is a Hawaiian name; it means "Heavenly flower" or "royal child of heaven". I think there are a few other meanings also. I am a writer, and ironically very bad at spelling. I write all day, you would think... but no. I saw the Milky Way for the first time last year while camping, it was a very awe-inspiring and place-setting moment. I would consider myself spiritual but not religious. Im a very open person, there isn't anything I won't talk about, details though, I may keep to myself depending on who I am talking to. I was in two bands. I played bass and keyboard. I have a cat named Zulu, she was the runt of the litter. I am a twin. I am 5'3 he is 6'4, not sure how that happened. I have three tattoos. A rabbit on my shoulder, forget-me-nots on my hip (I got the flowers shaded but it hurt so bad I was too much of a wuss to get the leaves and stems colored so they are just outlined. I kind of like the slight irony of my forget-me-nots being unfinished though.) and I have a spiral that turns into a question mark on the inside of my arm. That was the first one I got, it was originally a self portrait I did for art class in high school, which I got a D on. I get it though, I didn't follow the rules. I'm a smart-ass. I want to have a farm someday with an orchard and people can get food for free and the animals can live long happy lives. My favorite color is pink but I dont really own anything pink. I have two eyebrow rings and a nose ring. The eyebrow I did myself with a hollow needle. (I have two because the first one was too close to the middle so I evened it out.) The nose I had done profesh. I attended cosmetology school but left because I didn't really fit in there. I am very good with hair though. I have colored my hair many patterns and every color excpet green and I can not for the life of my get it to go white! (some colors were an accident but I made it work.) I was pretty wild back in my day but I don't really do much any more. I'm a bit of a home body. I'm a feminist. Everyone I work with is well aware of that. I love music. I have a cd collection with almost 350 cd's and I have a list of more to get. Good new music is hard to find these days though. I love reading. I like watching movies. I am a Marilyn Monroe fan (she's so fucking funny) and an Alfred Hitchock fan. When I was younger my siblings and I would make movies, news shows, and commercials with my dad's video camera. (Our commercials were the best though. Bloody brillant for kids.) I grew with listening to Enya and opera from my mother and Eric Clapton and Spin Doctors from my father. LAM was one of the first bands I heard that wasn't the same ol' "radio music" and opened me up to what music can sound like. I remember the first time I heard LAM. I was sitting on the floor of my freinds bedroom and they put in Selected Scenes, and Revenge came on and, well, it is still a vivid memory so that kind of says the profoundness of the moment. I am super excited for the new music!! When VAoB came out I took a bus to the mall and bought it straight a-way. Well, that is probably enough about me. There are so many forums to look through, which ones are your favorites? Which would you suggest I dive into? I'm not very good with social media forums so I might not use this very much. I'm not even sure I know how to actually post things in here or reply to things so, that might get interesting while I figure it out. Ha, maybe I will start with the help topic. I do like this site though, it's very invinting and refreshing. It kind of reminds me of Myspace the way you can personalize your profile page. Plus, it's all LAM fans so that's super cool. Alrighty, have a fabulous day everyone!
