So it was what? 7 weeks and then season 2 ends? ARGH! Again, in a more perfect world they would film 4 episodes for every one they film now. In the PBS bumper after the "making of..." documentary they said they were now working on season 3. I hope they don't rush through another decade in 7 weeks or else there can never be season 4 without everyone being in old age makeup.

Too true...everything seemed end so quickly...the war, the trial etc.  All of a sudden we were in 1920?  I have a feeling they will rush through another decade(maybe even two) in season 3, which would mean everything they do in season 4 is going to be a rush job, too.  I hope not...even if they filmed 4 episodes for every one they film, it may be longer, but people would watch it simply because they would now have the chance to tie everything together, and wouldn't feel as if they were people rushed through it.

I'm interested to see if Mary really goes through with marrying Matthew...if Bates remains in prison...if Sir Richard carries through with his threats to bring scandal on Downton Abbey.
