Whenever my daughter will ask the "Why?" question I have this in reply:

"Because I hold the papers that define your inheritance, that's why."  She'll look at me like I'm crazy.  Well, a few weeks back, I asked the "Why?" thing and she came back with, "Because I have the power to put you in a nursing home, that's why."  I about fell over!scared  How do you counter that? lmao
ahahahahahahhahaha

What an amazing mother-daughter pair! smiley: laugh

Now that I think about it... people usually don't ask me "why" regardless of what the topic is ...I guess they just think I'm weird and mental, so no use asking something like that... mh... smiley: eyes

EDIT: Ha! Or maybe they're scared I'd impale them if they did? smiley: roll Well, I often got told I don't make people at ease - though I'm not an aggressive person... I wonder what will happen if I'll have to get mad? smiley: happy

We sure are an amazing mother-daughter pair...we're like Jack Benny and Rochester(Google this wonderful vaudevillian and his side-kick if you don't know who they are...smiley: happy)...haha!

I get the "Why" question at work all the time.  It's like some kind of pre-requisite for the job apparently.  "Why?  Because I am the head Funeral Director, that's why!"  Yeah, I may be the head mortician/goddess of death, but aren't really afraid of me.  It's everyone OUTSIDE my job, that would rather not engage with me. They seem to think I have a hole(grave)with their names on it. o_O smiley: roll
