I think it is a lame and tired excuse to think that it's  "not the people's fault" or to think that there is nothing wrong with taking advantage of a situation that supports illegal activities. People would not be breaking the law and uploading music if nobody was watching it or creating an audience for it. They are "sharing" for attention (I mean what else do they achieve from it?) and it is being fueled by the people that see no harm in just watching. People really need to be accountable for their actions and often their inactions and stop participating in what is ultimately going to doom quality music. I don't think this is such a difficult concept to grasp. It makes me sad.
