I understand your point, I wasn't trying to justify it nor do I think that music should be downloaded for free by any excuse. I just wanted to point out that I can see how it came to this in my country in which more crucial laws are not being obeyed, from the top of the state downwards.
But as I said - I know too little of these things to pull a discussion, so I'll just stop the spam smiley: smile

Exactly, few people have an idea about how things are in reality. Not because the most of people are not involved in anything, just because people don't care about anything but themselves.

That's why this is good to tell people why filesharing is harmful. But unfortunately, not all of them are open minded like you, many people ignore such information or try to justify their selfish motivation to steal.

I'm from Russia, where laws are not respected. Some of the laws are useless, old or defend the interests of the rich elite. But thankfully there are adequate laws in any country. Other than that our countries would collapse at all. So it just tells us that there is the hope to improve things and the best way to improve things is to know more about the subject and tell other people how filesharing is harmful to artists.

So there is no need to say
After all, I don't have to know everything about it

You'd better know anything about it.
You are told now about the subject. So you have the knowledge Think!
