Regarding the article on middle class neighborhoods: People are so happy their homes have doubled and even tripled in value over the last few years but what they don't get is the fact that it makes it harder to buy another house if you want to move, the taxes can go up and up AND their kids aren't going to be able to afford a home. Sky rocketing home prices are not a good thing.

Just watch HGTV (which I admit to watching) People are never satisfied with what they have it seems. They have to remodel, redo, relandscape. Spend spend spend. No one seems happy with a simple dwelling much anymore. Many of the homes being built now are very large and with large price tags. I don't know who buys these places. I understand many are getting those "interest only" loans which many financial experts believe are going to be a disaster.
