So, basically her problem is not that you don't believe that insane, unsubstantiated conspiracy theory, it's that you don't support her stupid "organisation"! That's what hurt her ego, that fact that you didn't shower her with compliments about her "charity" work. What sort of charity is that, that helps just goths? How about all the other people that are in need? If she wanted to help people, she would offer her help to everyone, regardless what scene they belong to. It's just a way to draw attention to herself. Real charity work is a selfless pursuit, and it certainly doesn't involve bragging about it on myspace...

Sean, I think you are spending too much time responding to nutters, and you're damaging your inner peace in the process of doing so. The people who live in a dream world of their own will never wake up to reality, unless they seek professional help, so trying to fight your corner with them is futile. I think you should just ignore the nutters, and concentrate on the people you can communicate with, who are greater in number, and much more fun to talk to. :)

Anyway, it's just my opinion, I'm sure you know how to deal with such people better than anybody else, after all those years of practice. ;)
