It's very sad to read these news, but
unfortunately some people are sick!!!
Poor Tiger Lily, but this is just a famous case, but there are people who torture animals everyday and in differwnt ways.

One could argue that anyone who takes a life in an unlawful fashion is insane. I mean it isn't sane to go into a 711 and shoot the clerk for 20 dollars,
it's abnormal. If it was normal and the sane thing to do, we'd all be going into 711's and shooting the clerk in order get a free slurpee, or maybe
a barista at starbucks to get a free frappuccino. But as a society, we can't go weak on those who are a danger to the rest of us, or are darling little
furry companions. So this girl should be tried as an adult, and she should serve time. Now chances are, she'd be released in 1-2 years, if that. And
chances are, when she comes out she will be worse and she will be one of those people who spends more time in prison than out. But either way, this girl
isn't going to go on to become someone who benefits humanity, I just don't see it.
We could do what Cuba did, just put thousands of our repeat offenders on boats and send them off to another country. Maybe Korea? But before we can even think of giving animal killers long sentences in the US, we first need to do away with our draconian laws when it comes to drugs. Our prisons are overpopulated with non violent offenders because of those laws. |
