I came back a few days ago from a week in Thessaloniki (Greece). It was a trip decided on a whim, and booked last minute. Which meant a lot of friends had other plans or wheren't there, so I didn't get a chance to see everyone, but nevertheless, I did see some friends and family. I had a great time. Only problem was, it was very very hot!
I've also got a new job! Yay!! It's a six month contract that may go permanent after that. The role is Financial Controller, and the company is in the business of organising fundraising campaigns and events on behalf of charities, community organisations, sports clubs, etc. The offices are situated 8 minutes from where I live, so I don't have to travel to London anymore, which is what I wanted. I'm starting on 1st June. I can't wait!
