So I don't understand why you're now asking if I'm "going back to the whole evolution thing?" (whatever that means). Anyway- more on evolution- why not ask if people believe in gravity? life is just a huge mystery to me that i am always thinking and thinking maybe too much. as you well know, about me! but i enjoy hearing what people think about this... mmuuaaah! Well, life really isn't that mysterious. We're here. The only logical thing for us to do is try and improve things, to accept reality, to not be so self centered that we must expect payoff in an afterlife, or that we live only to benefit self. The reality is the only heaven we're certain of is the one we're capable of making ourselves. Now. The more people relinquish control of their lives to (the hope of) a better afterlife, the less likely they will try and make this life good or feel responsibility towards one another, to animals, to future generations, etc. Sean wow. are you enjoying slamming shit down my throat??? You opened a discussion thread, and he made some perfectly valid remarks on your questions/points, in a very polite and informed manner. You expressed your views, then you don't like it when people - or shall I say Sean in particular? - disagree with you and make a valid point agaist your views? YOU are the one guilty of what you are accusing Sean of. You are incredibly rude, you wrote some very offensive things about Sean and others on this board, yet you are still allowed to post here. Why? Because Sean is a lot more tolerant than some of us. The fact that you cannot hold a conversation with Sean and argue against his points is not Seans fault. It's down to your shortcomings to defend and back up your view with facts, or at least a reasonable rationale.
