On Monday representatives of 34 antiwar groups delivered an open letter to President Obama strongly opposing his decision to escalate the war. Meanwhile in Afghanistan many residents have expressed opposition to Obama's war plans, citing the fact that the US has killed countless civilians, essentially creating the very "enemy" they claim to be fighting against *** Iraqi officials are reporting incidences of cancer, deformed babies and other health problems have risen sharply since the US-led invasion in 2003.
